Meet Dandelion. We are a group of Northern California musicians… but these people I’m so blessed to work with are much more talented than me. I’ve always said I’m just a dandelion. A small simple flower compared with all the other flowers in the garden. But there’s more to it than that. This name for our group came from a passion for spreading the Good News… like seed. Just like a dandelion.
Due to Covid, we became a virtual group, virtually singing praises to a really real God whose second coming is really near. But we have been working together for much longer than that. God brought these musicians into my life because He knew I’d need them. They’ve been adding their beautiful improvisations to my songs since we started working together in 2013 and I’m always so excited when I get a song back with their musical explorations.
My name’s Margo, and I am a physical therapist whose absolute favorite passion is writing songs about Jesus and my Christian walk. After almost 18 years of writing, by the grace of God, I was finally able to take the next step…and with help from these talented people, recorded 7 albums in 7 years. Praying these little seeds are planted…and then harvested on that day Jesus comes…which truly is going to be here sooner than we think.
Here are the album descriptions…
The most recent project we just finished is called Let It Pour. This was supposed to be a kids album, with lots of guest artists. However, it turned into a Covid project. Schools closed and everything changed. Despite that, it turned out to be one of my favorite albums. It includes some of the first songs I ever wrote, along with more scripture songs (Of course! My favorite! scripture lyrics are more profound than than anything I could ever come up with!) and our first acappella song ever, called The 7th Day. This album, like the rest of the albums, is mostly acoustic and unplugged. It features a landscape of lush soothing cello, piano, French Horn, harmonica, clarinet and flute, along with moments of Keyboards and synthesizer here and there to add interest:)
The Sweetest Valentine:
This is our first kids album. I have had so much fun working with the kids from Red Bluff Adventist Christian Elementary School. They have added their voices on several of our albums. The Sweetest Valentine is a compilation of all the kids songs which were on each album, in addition to five brand new ones. This was, released in 2019. It was well received and one company even bought many of these CDs to distribute to different school libraries across the United States. It’s sung by kids but really, the songs are enjoyable and appropriate for all ages. It’s my niece Ashley’s favorite album of all and she’s 30!:)

At Last and My Captain:
These albums are full of soothing relaxing inspirational songs I wrote based on my own personal experience with God and His word. At Last includes message songs about the Three Angels Messages, the Latter Rain, the Spirit of Prophecy and more. Many of the lyrics are full of scripture.
Chariots and Remember:
These two albums I was impressed to do are Scripture Song Bible Studies, designed to help people remember scripture. These are basically Bible studies set to music. ‘Remember’, is Scripture Song Bible Studies on the validity of Word, the Sabbath, the Ten Commandments, the Mark of the Beast, the Seal of God, and more. ‘Chariots’ is more Scripture Song Bible Studies, on faith and victory, prayer, death and hell, the Resurrection, and the Second Coming. Each scripture song has from one to ten (or more) verses, with many songs including the references to to each text. If you learn the songs on these two albums, you will know over 240 verses and you could give Bible studies on over ten different topics, from memory.
We are having fun creating lyric videos from the songs, all of which are available on You Tube and also on this website under the video tab. Dale Price, our recording engineer and percussionist, makes these videos using nature photos my husband and I have taken, which makes these videos especially interesting for us:)

I live in Northern California with my husband Rob, who is a physician assistant who specializes in sharing the health message with his clients. Our favorite place to vacation is the Northern California coastline, followed by our little cabin up near Mount Lassen. I love to do anything that takes me outdoors… Hiking, backpacking, or just going for an afternoon drive. Add interesting, stormy weather to the day and I am completely enamored. For me, to play the piano to the sound of rain or the ocean, is infinitely better than to not.
I feel very blessed to be able to have a small part in sharing God’s love. I consider myself just a dandelion.
So…if you like what you hear, give all the glory to God.
